EDITORIAL FLAIR: Of Fashion & Fairytales

At its most sublime, fashion editorials transport you into a rarified world where reality meets fantasy in couture. I am so happy to share these editorials from Sense & Style Magazine, a publication that champions local talents and promoting the country's most breathtaking locales. Witness daredevil model Samantha Lewis as she floats like a tulle jellyfish, maintaining poetic form despite the ocean currents of Balayan Bay, Batangas. Photographed by Pia Puno and styled by Ieth Inolino, with art direction by Hector Reyes, this editorial is one for the ages and I am so lucky my gown (gown guys, gown, she swam in a GOWN) got to be a part of it!

SENSE & STYLE, MARCH 2014

Back on dry land, Stephanie Retuya is a fetching sprite atop sinewy branches, kindling the imagination as she daydreams the day away in this coral gown by moi. Photographed by Maan Palmiery and styled by Ieth Inolino, I am loving how these images remind me of Filipino folklore and that they showcase the natural beauty of Occidental Mindoro.

SENSE & STYLE, MAY 2014

Not to be outdone, lovely little fashionistas are bedecked in Mariane Perez champagne tutu skirts, making all our dress-up fantasies come true!
